Nashua is centrally located between several towns
and cities making for a very reasonable commute while enjoying a small
town lifestyle. Charles City, New
Hampton and Waverly are about a 20-minute commute.
Mason City, Clear Lake, Waterloo and Cedar Falls are about a
45-minute commute. The Avenue of
the Saints, a four-lane highway makes the commute to the larger cities
very convenient.

Nashua and the surrounding communities offer many
activities and amenities.
Nashua is the home of the historic Little Brown Church.
Next to the church is the Old Bradford museum.
The lake offers a wide range of recreational activities including swimming, boating, jet skiing, and water skiing during the summer months and ice-skating and ice fishing during the winter.
For the golfing enthusiast there is a 9-hole golf course at the Country Club. There are several golf courses in the surrounding area.
The bigger cities within 20 minutes to 45 minutes offer many amenities including great shopping, casinos, college sports events and others.
Nashua is home to two campgrounds - offering hook ups, boat docks and boat launching.
The Big Four Fair is held at the fairgrounds at Nashua. This is a well attended county fair with major attractions. In addition “Water over the Dam Days” is the summer festival held in Nashua.
Nashua offers small town living with major cities near by. The lots at Cedar Hill Development are very reasonable making it the ideal location for young families, retirees, or those with careers in the larger cities but want the small town lifestyle.
